"Harmonious China"---a China's Facts Quiz

Overview

The website Chinaculture (www.chinaculture.org),in sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, is holding a "Harmonious China Facts Quiz" from June 25 to September 30, 2006.

The quiz is open to all overseas Chinese and any foreign friends with interest in Chinese culture.

 

Participate

Please log on the website: www.chinaculture.org and click the relevant hallmark on the webpage before taking the quiz online. Each quiz-taker has ONE chance, and will be given ONE ID (identified by registration information). Quiz-takers are NOT allowed to take participation in the contest for more than once by whatever means.

i. The quiz is prepared both in English and Chinese. Please take the questions and submit the answers online.

ii. Twenty questions are automatically selected by the computer from the database, each worth 5 points.

iii. The quiz is taking place from June 25 through September 30, 2006. A lucky draw is to be held in the following month, after which prizes will be awarded accordingly.

 

Awards

Classified in three grades.

First prize: an mp3 player

Second prize: a four-in-one computer accessory pack (flash memory, computer mouse, etc.)

Third prize: a computer mouse and pad.

Each winner will also be conferred a certificate.
