At the invitation of President Hu Jingtao, Israeli President Moshe Katsav will pay a state visit to China from December 14 to 20.

During his visit, President Katsav will meet with President Hu Jingtao, NPC Chairman Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen Jiabao and other Chinese leaders. Views will be exchanged on further development of China-Israeli relations as well as current international and Middle East situation. Besides Beijing, he will visit the Hongkong SAR.
